Walking

Gower is the ideal place for walkers, whether it is a gentle afternoon stroll or a strenuous hike across the downs. There are many maps, books and leaflets on local walks available from information centres, the National Trust or book shops.
Beaches/Swimming

Golf
There are a number of golf courses on and around the Gower peninsula, the nearest include Clyne, Fairwood, Pennard, Langland and Gower and there are many further a field.
Fishing

Archery
The nearest archery centre is at Penmaen which is about 20 minutes drive from Rhossili. www.perriswoodarchery.co.uk
Pony Trekking
Trekking centres include Parc-le-Breos Riding Centre in Parkmill and Copley Stables, Clyne Common.
Cycling
Gower is popular for cycling, however the main roads can be busy during the peak holiday period and also Gower is not flat!! There are cycle tracks along the old railway tracks from Gowerton to Blackpill and also from Swansea to Mumbles.
Surfing
Many of the beaches are popular for surfing, check out Llangennith, Rhossili, Caswell and Langland. Surfboards and wetsuits can be hired from PJ'sSurf Shop in Llangennith or adjacent campsite.
Rock Climbing

Rock Climbing areas include Mewslade/Fall Bay, Pennard, Tor Bay , Three Cliffs. Check out the tides before you go.
Sailing/Jet Skiing

Mumbles is popular for sailing; there are slipways at Port Eynon and Oxwich
Windsurfing
At Port Eynon, Horton and Llangennith

There are a host of activities available, check out your nearest information centre for details of events, activities, local attractions within the area or further a field.
